Our purpose is to use multimedia platforms to educate our fellow citizens about what really happened during the American Revolution; offsetting the myths that hide our patriotic past while addressing the alarming lack of public and student knowledge of that period of history in a highly educational, interactive, and entertaining manner.

TRAR produces education program featuring students interviewing Revolutionary heroesTRAR and the Virginia Chapter of the Washington Rochambeau Revolutionary Route Association have produced a historical educational program featuring Ms. Nora Stufft (past president of the Children of the American Revolution organization) and her fellow students interviewing famous individuals of the American Revolution period. Historical figures interviewed included Generals Rochambeau and George Washington, Law Professor George Wythe, Martha Washington, Patrick Henry, Benjamin Franklin, and young George Washington. The series, now available on TRAR's YouTube channel, was launched with Ms. Stufft interviewing Dr. Robert A. Selig, America's foremost expert on the Washington Rochambeau Revolutionary Route Trail and France's involvement in America's War for Independence. Virginia History Teachers assisted TRAR & W3R-US in creating educational options to learn about American Revolution
Virginia History and Social Science teachers who participated in a statewide survey during Fall 2021-Winter 2022 to determine what information, materials or activities they needed to educate students about the American Revolution have helped to create an educational "toolkit" consisting of PowerPoint presentations, historical videos (interactive and informative), online access to primary sources, and living history interpreters to appear in the classroom to excite and inspire students to learn about history.
